By offering visas on arrival to nationals of more than 70 countries, the Gulf state of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has streamlined the visa application procedure for tourists and visitors. As per the recent announcement made by the official UAE Digital Government, travelers can check if their nationality is eligible for a visa on arrival, as some nationalities still need to apply for a visa in advance. By 2031, the UAE wants to spend $123 billion on tourism and welcome 40 million visitors to its hotels. This goal is projected to have a positive impact on the UAE’s tourist sector.
